A no-spoiler route checklist: collect 10 Pink Coins, buy MysteryKey in the Cliffs, and open the Top of Castle door.

Collect at least 10 of the 19 Pink Coins in Flower Kingdom. After the shortcut doors open, return to the Cliffs shop and buy MysteryKey for 10 P$. Take the alternative path after Green's Shop at the Top of Castle, complete the falling-platform room, and use MysteryKey on the colored door. Finish this route before accepting the final warning and fighting the chapter's last boss.

Boss identity spoiler: the optional boss is Pink, the final Shadow Crystal boss. The encounter uses ACT and dating mechanics rather than ordinary weapon damage.

The successfully completed Chapter 5 Weird Route ends before Flower Kingdom, so that completion file cannot reach Pink. Use a normal route or an aborted Weird Route file if you want the Chapter 5 Shadow Crystal.
